London Dungeon

Are the London Dungeons Scary?

On Tuesday, Hubby and I headed up to London without the kids in tow for a London Meal and Theatre day out with Red Letter Days. We chose to eat our meal at lunchtime to give us a bit of time to explore London and being Merlin Annual Pass holders, we decided it was the ideal time to visit the London Dungeons as it is something we cannot do with the kids with us. Being a weekday and during school hours, we walked straight inside and had just a 10 minute wait for the next tour and being a last-minute …

Dinosaurs in the Wild – Review

Dinosaurs in the Wild has been on our days out wish list since it opened earlier this year and knowing it was closing at the end of the summer holidays (2nd September), we booked in to see it this week as a surprise for the kids. I have to admit that sporting events we normally attend are football related, with our last being the Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium, so I was unsure what the atmosphere would be like. The Queen Elizabeth Stadium took …

Muller Games Mumsnet

Countdown to the Müller Anniversary Games

Ever since London 2012, the kids have taken a real interest in different sports, especially track and field and swimming events. All my children have learned to swim from a young age, but seeing these athletes perform and knowing their swimming teacher used to swim competitively, has ignited a real passion in them, so much so that Isaac and Eliza are both now swimming for a swim club – something we had never heard of before. The Müller Anniversary Games is one of the best events in the world and plays hosts to superstars from an array of sports.  Held across the …
