Casdon Kenwood Titanium Mixer Review

I have always wanted a big cake mixer so when I was offered a Kenwood Titanium Mixer to review, I jumped at the chance.

The only problem is, it is for the kids and not me!

The Casdon Kenwood Titanium Mixer has been specially designed to be true to life, right down to the last detail so little cooks will really feel part of your world while developing essential life skills.

The mixer can be used in two different ways; with a handle to turn the whisk which attaches to the top of the mixer, or you can add two “AA” Batteries and you can turn the dial to adjust the speed.

The mixer even comes with a recipe book to make some treats, however, I would suggest that bake with a normal size mixer and just add a couple of spoonfuls to the Casdon mixer as it does struggle with larger quantities and tends to push the ingredients outward rather than mixing them thoroughly.

The mixer encourages the development of hand-to-eye co-ordination, especially when turning the whisk manually with the pop-up arm. The button to turn to activate helps your child to understand cause and effect and the accessories are great for making it feel just like an adult mixer.

If you are a keen baker at home, this is the perfect addition to the toy kitchen so your little one can copy what you do and bake their own creation.

  1. Talk about a childhood dream! I absolutely love baking and always have, so to have had a mixer I could use would have been perfect. My daughter and I enjoy baking together now, so I’ll be keeping an out for this 🙂
