Bob Books Photo Book – Review

Having a baby is one of the most special times in someone’s life and one of my regrets is not having any nice photo’s of me when I was pregnant.

When Abbey announced she was expecting a baby, I knew instantly what gift to get her – a Maternity Photo Shoot with my friend Samira at Hey Little You Studios in Bournemouth.

Abbey had her photo shoot done at 35 weeks pregnant and then a newborn shoot when Lilah was just a few days old and the photo’s are absolutely stunning.

The plan was to get our favourites put onto a canvas, but all the photo’s are gorgeous and it seemed such a shame to leave them hidden on our phones or computers.

I was invited to review a photo book with Bob Books, the UK’s leading platform for creating and printing photo books, the perfect solution to the problem of hidden photo’s.

To start, you need to download the software onto your phone, iPad or desktop computer.

This software makes it really easy to design and create your book. Firstly, you need to select the size and shape of your book, your cover and your chosen paper.

Once this is done, you can then select a design, or create your very own.

We chose the new baby design, but added extra artwork and text to personalise it further.

I added the maternity shoot pictures first, followed by the newborn shoot, along with some extra artwork and am really pleased with the result.

What we now have is a 42 page photo book, filled with special photographs that will be treasured forever.

Once you are happy with the design, simply click order and pay and your book will be winging its way to your front door within 7 days. Ordered books are stored for 60 days, so if friends or family want to order a copy, simply log on to your account and order another one.

We are really pleased with our book. It arrived in sturdy cardboard packaging, with its edges protected with bumpers to stop it being damaged in transit.

The book is printed on good quality, thick paper and the colours are clear and crisp. It’s the perfect size for keeping on the coffee table, or popping on the book shelf.

Bob Books photobooks cost from £14.99 and they also offer calendars, framed posters, canvases, gallery mounts and foamboards and I have a fabulous 20% discount code for my readers. Visit bobbooks.co.uk/chelseamamma for the code and how to get started.

  1. These are something to cherish forever. I wish I had some done during my pregnancies as I only have a few snaps that aren’t very good. These photos are gorgeous and the book looks great!

  2. The photo books starts at only £14.99 ? This is definitely something to do to keep those precious memories.
I also think this will apply to travel pictures, save them and make them into a book.
Thanks for giving me an idea of what to do with my million and one travel photos.
