Bing Talking Plush and Bing Baking App Review and Giveaway

Back in August last year we reviewed My Friend Bing Bunny and he is still a much-loved toy.

Bing Bunny is a lovable, energetic and curious pre-schooler who is learning that life is full of little adventures. Based on the books by Ted Dewan, Sebby loves this animated series that celebrates the joyful, messy reality of pre-school life. From everyday adventures at the playground to messy mishaps and micro-dramas, this series explores what life is really like for both pre-schoolers and their grown-ups and it is the one program on the TV that he will sit and watch from beginning to end.

We have been sent the Bing Talking Plush and his friend Hoppity Voosh to review. Playing games, singing songs and talking about favourite foods are all definitely Bing Things and by pressing Bing’s tummy you hear lots of fun phrases or give him a really big squeeze to hear him sing out an adorably long vooooooosh.

There is also a new Bing Baking app which allows Sebastian to be part of Bing’s colourful and playful world by joining him and Flop in their kitchen for a joyful, fun and messy baking experience.

Bing Baking

In this child-friendly, super-creative app, your Bingster will get the chance to make and decorate a new batch of biscuits each time they play. They can roll the dough or squidge it with their hands, using many different cutters to make new shapes. Once their biscuits are decorated, they can be popped in the oven, but you’ll need to keep an eye on Chicky Timer to make sure the biscuits don’t burn! If they do, it’s no big thing – you might not be able to eat them but you can still decorate them.

Sebby doesn’t really enjoy playing games on the iPad, getting frustrated and walking away but Bing Baking has really caught his imagination – probably as he loves Bing and it’s not difficult to create your biscuits. Once you have created your biscuits, tap on the camera to take a snapshot of your yummy-delicious treats before you and Bing sit down to eat them together. Nom, nom, nom!

On Thursday 28th July, Team Bing is having a twitter tea party to celebrate the launch of the app between 1pm – 3pm. Simply follow @BingBunny and use the hashtag #BingBaking to join in with fun activities and the chance to win some great prizes.

  1. Aw, these are SO cute! I’ve been needing to figure out some gifts for my young cousin’s birthdays (and Christmas presents in fact) and I think these could be a really good option – it looks like they’ve gone down well with your kids 🙂 And I love the fact that there’s an app too – brings it a bit more up to date for more modern children!

  2. If you’ve yet to play the latest Shaun the Sheep apps and games, you’ll find them all here, including the recent free games Shear Speed, a fast-paced racing game, and Top Knot, a fun hair styling app.
