Beko Vacuum Blender Review

Beko

As the kids are getting older they are becoming more adventurous with the foods they will try, partly because of persuasion from us, but also because they are learning about the science of eating healthily at school.

I am taking part in the Beko #EatLikeAPro campaign – a global initiative to encourage families to eat healthier.

We have already been playing with their food styling page, to make food look for fun when it is served up, but now they have sent me their brand new Vacuum Blender, along with a range of quick and easy recipes that can be made with it.

Beko Vacuum Blender

I am new to making smoothies, but for experienced smoothy makers and juicers, the nifty vacuum blending technology removes air from the jar before blending to retain the vitamins, colour and taste of your ingredients for longer. This means that you can enjoy fresh-tasting, healthy smoothies the day after you prepare them, helping your family Eat Like A Pro.

Eat like a pro

Other features of the Vacuum Blender is the large-capacity jug, which is perfect for creating smoothies for the whole family.

The great thing about the blender is that it is ready to use, straight from the box – after a quick wash of course.

It was easy to use too. Thanks to its 1000w motor, variable speed settings and stainless steel blades, it made light work of everything I put in it, including ice cubes.

Vacuum Blender

The vacuum blender comes with four blending programmes to suit your needs; smoothie, ice, sauce and auto-clean, plus anpulse function to give a smoothie a quick burst of power.

For each programme, you can choose between vacuum blending or normal blending. And, for even more flexibility, you can pick between a selection of speed settings too.

I love the easy-to-use Auto-clean setting. Simply pour water into the jug, and the blender uses a powerful pulse movement to clean high up the sides and into every corner.

The recipes are perfect for both experienced smoothy makers and novices like me. The Berry Blast Smoothie is definitely the kids favourite so far, with the coconut and banana cocoa milkshake a very close second.

Very Berry Smoothy

The Beko Vacuum Blender has an RRP of £199.99 and is available from AO.com.

Disclosure: I received a Beko Vacuum Blender to review and keep, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

The fact that this has an auto clean is reason enough to buy this. I used to make gonna of smoothies, but it’s not as easy to clean up with two toddlers running around. This would be great!

  3. Very impressive tool for the kitchen, I love that it sucks the air out allowing the food to retain its vitamins.

It certainly sounds like a win! I’ve tried smoothie makers before but never found one that doesn’t leave bits but this one with the powerful motor sounds heaven
