Beko Cordless Handheld & Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

I am not a fan of housework, but it is always a bit more fun when you get a new toy to play with!

We were sent the Beko Cordless Handheld & Upright Vacuum Cleaner to review and I could not wait to put it through its paces.

Unlike some vacuum cleaners, it does require some assembly, but it took just 5 minutes to do, using the easy to follow instructions.

Beko Cordless Vacuum

What surprised me the most was how lightweight and easy to use it is. The SelfDrive™ technology offers a powerful digital motor in the vacuum head, taking the strain out of vacuuming as it guides itself across the floor with the lightest touch from you.

The Beko Cordless Handheld & Upright Vacuum Cleaner comes with extenders and 3 extra attachments, helping you to clean even those hard-to-reach spots.

Accessories include: Crevice Tool, Dusting Tool, 2-in-1 Tool, Flexible Hose Extension, Motorised Turbo Brush Head, an Upholstery brush and a stand for the vacuum cleaner and accessories to sit on.

The battery had a charge straight from the box, so we could use it straight away which was very handy. A full charge lasts around 25 minutes although we did find it didn’t last as long when vacuuming carpet versus hard flooring. Its suction levels are good and it has dealt with everything that the kids have thrown at it so far.

All in all we are very impressed with the Beko Cordless Handheld & Upright Vacuum Cleaner as it converts to a handheld cleaner easily and because it is cordless, can be used to clean the car without having to drag extension cables outside.

The Beko Cordless Handheld & Upright Vacuum Cleaner has an RRP of £99 but I have found some great offers online.

  1. Oh wow I had no idea that Beko now do vacuum cleaners, we have had a Beko washing machine for years which has served us well and my Mum has always had the refrigerators. Cordless are so much easier for cleaning aren’t they.

  2. Thanks for the review. I bought one of these a few years ago (different brand) and the suction power on it was awful. I may as well have been sucking the dirt up through a straw..which of course is not a good idea.

  3. I’ve tried other cordless vacuum’s, and I do like how light they are. I just don’t like how long they have before they need recharging. In realistic terms, as a Mother, it is certainly never enough. Which is why I have always been put off from getting one. Nice to see that Beko have come up with a good design though, and for those that can use them, looks ideal.

  4. Our hoover could do with replacing… this one looks great. I like slimline one that are easy to store in a cupboard without it taking up too much room.

  5. I love how mobile this little vacuum is and how easy it is to pick up and move/etc, but the suction could definitely be better. Although I guess I shouldn’t expect much from a vacuum this small, especially since it’s bagless.
