Back to school with Petit Ferdinand

We are three weeks in to the school summer holiday’s and my thoughts have started to turn towards getting ready for the new term.

Having got three children through school already, I have a good idea of what I need to buy new and what can be recycled for a new term or handed down and I try to save money wherever possible.

One of my pet hates, but something that needs to be done is labelling uniform, bags and shoes as I have lost count of the number of times one of my kids has come home with odd shoes on, forgotten a jumper or swapped a lunchbox.

Eliza labels

Labelling uniform used to be a really laborious task – do you remember the sew in labels that used to take ages to stitch in properly so they could not be easily ripped or cut out?

Now you can customise iron-on labels, stick-on clothing labels and adhesive name labels to quickly identify clothes, school supplies, personal belongings with Petit-Ferdinand.

Not only are their labels 100% personalised, but they are washing machine and tumble dryer resistant for real staying power.

I opted for a value pack which contains 140 labels:

Petit Ferdinand

For clothes:

  • 20 stick-on labels
  • 20 iron-on labels (1 line of text)

For objects:

  • 40 Mini item stickers
  • 30 item stickers (1 line)
  • 20 item stickers (2 lines)
  • 10 shoe labels

These labels are easy to customise and the kids loved getting to choose their own designs and colours.

The labels took just 48 hours to arrived and the best bit is – apart from the iron on labels, they had a blast sticking the stickers in their uniform themselves. It’s the perfect rainy day activity!

  1. These labels are so cute and it’s perfect that they are fully customization! Long gone are the days when the name tags used to be boring, black text on white 🙂

  2. I resorted to permanent marker on clothing tags last year as also with three at home just didn’t have the energy for the evils of sewing tags in. Going to be heading to the petit ferdinand site though now to check these out as they look even easier than permanent marker.
