I am a huge Harry Potter fan, having read all the books in the series, seen the films and made several visits to Warner Bros Studio Tours: The Making of Harry Potter.
We have been on countdown all year to see Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald and we were lucky enough to be one of the first to see it on its preview date and were certainly not disappointed.
The film again follows the adventures of Magizoologist Newt Scamander, who has been enlisted by Albus Dumbledore to help thwart Grindelwald’s plans of raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings, which he does with the aid of some old friends and fantastic beasts!!
One of my favourite “beasts” from the first film was the Niffler and it is back in the new film, with a few new additions in tow.
Definition of a Niffler: “Long-snouted, burrowing creatures native to Britain with a penchant for anything shiny”
We were sent some plush Niffler toys to review and of course, they arrived when I was out, immediately broke out of their packaging and went in search of anything shiny they could find!!
The small baby Nifflers are 4″ long. They are cute and collectible, with four different plush babies to collect. The larger baby Niffler measures 7″ and is super fluffy, whilst the Mummy Niffler is 14″ and has a pouch which comfortably fits two babies inside.
The plush Nifflers are available from all good toy shops, priced from £19
