A New Children’s Menu at Frankie & Benny’s

Frankie & Benny’s have launched a new kids menu with some fantastic new dishes including delicious Chicken Bites, a fun make-your-own Wrap It Up Chicken, and a great new Build-A-Burger so kids can enjoy exactly as they like it and we were invited to try it out just in time for Isaac’s birthday.

Frankie & Benny’s is a firm favourite with our family, especially as they have also launched a Kids Eat Free offer with their new-look App and are always running money off offers on twitter and facebook.  They understand that kids need to be entertained when out for a meal and have a great fun pack to get them occupied before their food arrives.

Isaac likes watching the chefs do their work and the kitchen is visible from the restaurant so they can watch their meals being prepared.  I was also impressed that they were happy to mix and match a meal for my very fussy little man.

I was impressed that everyone cleared their plates and then it was time for the real star of the show – the fantastic new kids dessert the Ice Cream Candy Shop.  It’s a great value upgrade to the kids menu, for just £1.95 and drew gasps from Isaac and Eliza when it arrived.

The Ice Cream Candy Shop comes with two scoops of ice cream, 3 jars of sweets, a jug of chocolate sauce, some marshmallows and a packet of popping candy –  a really fun and hands-on way to enjoy dessert although it was so large that Eliza and Isaac could have shared one between them.  Of course we had dessert too, I stuck with a nice refreshing sorbet but hubby indulged in a huge waffle and Kian had a sundae.

As it was Isaac’s birthday I had brought a cake with me and the waiter brought it out after we had finished dessert along with the Frankie & Benny’s mascot Sketch which made Isaac’s day.

I had only brought a sparkler with me but Isaac wanted to blow out a candle, so the waiter dashed off to save me and Isaac got to make his wish after the whole restaurant sang him Happy Birthday.

We had a fabulous time at Frankie & Benny’s and want thank the staff at Tower Park for making Isaac’s birthday meal so special.  The food was delicious, the service excellent and meeting Sketch was the icing on the cake.

I have since discovered that Frankie & Benny’s do children’s make-your-own pizza birthday parties, so this is on the list for next year.

Disclaimer:  We received a Frankie & Benny’s Gift Voucher towards the cost of our meal.  All thoughts are our own.
