What have I got in common with the Duchess of Cambridge?

We both have baby boys born in the summer of 2013, they share a middle name and now I am the proud owner of the Duchess necklace which she was spotted wearing whilst out shopping in Chelsea in October 2013.

I have been a fan of Merci Maman for some time and already own one of their gorgeous Charm bracelets!

Kate’s necklace features 3 charms suspended from a gold-plated long chain:  a mini heart engraved with W representing Prince William,  a disc with her baby son’s full name George Alexander Louis, and a sweet little boy charm but, you can choose how you want to create your own.I wear gold, so I chose the 18K gold version, but they do make a sterling silver version if you prefer. I was initially a little concerned that I wouldn’t be able to fit all 6 of my children on it, however I was surprised to find out I could!!I have my three eldest’s names engraved on one side and the three youngest on the other, with a boy and girl charm to represent the sexes.  The mini heart is engraved with an A to represent my husband’s name

I chose the 80cm chain version, but if you prefer a shorter chain they also offer a 45cm version and I am absolutely over the moon with the results

  116. So many things that I like, but I have finally chosen my favourite – the Women’s Personalised Gold Plated Tree of Life Necklace. I’d put my children’s name on it and give it too my Mum.. She would love that 🙂
