Unless you have been living in a cave with no phone signal and no wifi you will know that Team Honk are planning a blogger to blogger journey the whole length of the country, starting tomorrow – 12th January 2014 and finishing just before the official Sport Relief weekend Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd March 2014.
The challenge will be completed by bloggers using various methods of transport to complete a blogger to blogger Honktastic torch relay – all the way up the Country from Lands End to John O’Groats and guess what………..
I’M TAKING PART!!
The Dorset team consists of Sonya from rocknrollmum who is picking up the baton up in Dorchester on 15th January. She is heading to Blandford to hand over to Clara and Kirsty from MyTwoMums who will head to Wimborne to meet Joanne from Charliemoos and finally to me in Poole where I will take the baton through Poole, Bournemouth and the New Forest where it will be collected by one of the Team Honk founders……..Annie from mammasaurus on 17th January.
I can confirm that a few of us will be in onsies and transport involves scooters, bikes and even the water – we would love it if you could sponsor us at bournemouthteamhonk. All money raised goes to Sport Relief 2014 to raise cash that will help to change lives, both here in the UK and abroad. If you could sponsor us, we’d be really grateful as your generosity really will help to make a world of difference to people living incredibly tough lives.
If you would like to support us on social media, please sign up to the Team Honk Newsletter here – the more people that know about us, the more we hope to raise!
There is also a competition to Name the Team Honk Baton – you could win yourself a brand spanking new pair of trainers if you pick the winning name!
From me, and on behalf of those you’ll help, thank you.
