Win a Family Ticket to Paultons Park – Home to Peppa Pig World

My first ever blog post was about the fun and adventures we had at Peppa Pig World as Paultons Park, all the way back in August 2011.  Fast forward two years and Peppa Pig is still as popular as ever and we have season passes which mean that we are regular visitors.

Paultons Park

Yesterday we were invited to a Bloggers Coffee Morning at Peppa Pig World, to celebrate the launch of their new range of toys and clothes that are exclusive to their park shop and website:  www.shop.peppapigworld.co.uk.

The kids were super excited to be allowed to play with new toys and I got a few christmas ideas of my own.

There were lots of fabulous items to choose from and I love the new adult range, although I am not sure if I am brave enough to wear a Mummy Pig t-shirt in public.  The Grandpa Pig Polo shirt is a little more understated though and the Granny Pig Loves Baking apron is a fantastic idea and both would make perfect gifts.

If you prefer your love of Peppa to be a little more discreet then you can have Mummy & Daddy Pig mugs and even socks.

Top of Eliza’s list was the Peppa Pig handbag and purse along with George’s plush dinosaur and Peppa’s plush teddy and Isaac really enjoyed completing the puzzles – especially the round one which he morphed into headphones!

I may have invested in a new set of pyjamas for myself, after all I’m not Grumpy (honest) and the Peppa Pig World of Playsets which are currently on offer at £19.99.
Once we had played with ALL the toys we get to head out into the park but not before we met and huggled Suzy Sheep.

Peppa Pig World

Being the height of the summer holidays and a beautiful day, Peppa Pig World was super busy so we had a go in Grandpa Pigs boats, splashed around in the Muddy Puddles Water Play area and then headed off to explore the rest of Paulton’s Park.

Peppa Pig World

Although we have been to Paultons Park on numerous occasions this year, we have never actually played in the Water Kingdom as we haven’t been when it is warm enough.  Both Isaac and Eliza preferred it to the Muddy Puddles splash park as you get much wetter!!

Paultons Park

If you have pre-school children I strongly recommend you visit the park in term time as it is much quieter, however, if you are going in high season these are my tips……..

  • Peppa Pig World is quietest at opening (10am) and after 3.30pm as everyone realises that they haven’t explored the rest of the park
  • Paultons Park has lots of other rides suitable for all ages including rollercoasters, a log flume and more gentle cars / boats
  • There are two water play areas so take a swimming costume and towel (although you can buy them onsite)
  • Walk through the aviary, visit the penguins and see if you can find the dinosaurs
  • There are numerous play parks if the kids get bored of rides
  • Take a picnic – queues at the restaurants are long and it is pricey and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery
  • You will see lots of the coin operated kiddi rides dotted around the park – these are FREE to use!

The fabulous team at Paultons Park have given me a Family Ticket to give away, so one of my readers and their family can explore the park for themselves!!
