Making changes to the house in time for spring

I don’t know about you, but it definitely feels like spring is on its way.

No sooner have the snowdrops appeared, but the daffodils are following closely behind and I saw my first blooms of the year yesterday.

Seeing spring starting to appear has turned my thoughts to start making some changes to the house, one of which was part of my 19 goals for 2019 challenge.

We have an extension on the back of the house which is used as our playroom / games room and sometimes dining room. It is a brilliant extra space, however the doors that lead into it are like something from the 1970’s and I have been desperate to replace them with something more practical ever since we moved in.

Next week, our battered old doors will be replaced with some bi-fold beauties which will not only take up less space, but will also let more light into the lounge and I am keen to turn our extension into more of a dining room, with good storage options, now that the kids don’t have so many toys.
