Working in the early years sector is a very rewarding job, but that age group are notoriously susceptible to picking up all kinds of bugs and it can leave us constantly feeling that we are fighting off one thing or another.
I am a fan of natural remedies as a whole as already take turmeric to help relieve inflammation of my joints caused by arthritis, so when I was invited to try Alchemlife PhytoRelief-CC®, a natural seasonal immunity support lozenge which contains natural ingredients including Pomegranate, Turmeric and Ginger extracts, I jumped at the chance.
The ingredients in PhytoRelief are even more powerful acting together, strengthening the immune system and activating lysozyme production, a natural antiviral defence and barrier to ward of these bugs, as well as boosting the natural immune response and reducing inflammation to manage the severity and duration of symptoms and get back on track faster.
I was expecting the lozenge to be a hard, boiled sweet type thing, but although it’s not chewy it is fairly soft and easy to just let sit and dissolve in the mouth.
I am not a fan of cold / sore throat lozenges as a rule, but this had a pleasant minty taste and as it dissolves you can definitely feel the warmth of the ginger coming through and menthol which helps to clear the nose.
One pack (RRP: £6.99) contains 2 blister packs, each containing 6 lozenges with a recommended dosage of up to 3 lozenges per day which should be kept in the mouth without chewing.
I have been taking them for a couple of weeks now and had a couple of days when I experienced lost of sneezing, which I assumed was going to be the start of a cold, but it seemed to develop into nothing.
PhytoRelief-CC® is suggested for:
- Common Cold & Cough
- Sore & Itchy Throat
- Enhance Immunity
Published clinical studies in renowned international journals have proven that the usage of AlchemLife’s PhytoRelief-CC® results in reduced duration and severity of cold and flu symptoms due to its anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic & immunity boosting properties.

I am going to continue taking them in the hope that it continues to ward off any unpleasant bugs, that the kids insist on sharing over the winter months.
If you would like to try PhytoRelief for yourself, you can find them on the AlchemLife website or on Amazon. You can also visit their website.
This is such a good idea! After being seriously ill with pneumonia a few years ago I really worry and try to keep myself healthy especially in the winter. I think I may have to give these a go . X
I feel your pain. Having a 5 year old we’ve been riddled with germs every winter…and Spring…and sometimes even summer! Their claims are very interesting and that is very promising that you didn’t develop a cold from your sneezing
I haven’t heard of these before but they sound great! I find the cold and flu capsules never work! My kids seem to bring home a different cold or cough every week in the winter months.
These are new to me. As there is no cure for the common cold I’m willing to try anything to alleviate the symptoms once!
I’ve never come across these and end up with a cold every time this year! Definitely going to give them a go
Having a daughter in reception I know what you mean, she has brought home so many germs!
these sound like a great idea. There’s so many germs around this year that if you can give your immune system a little help I say why not
These look good – I’ll check them out. I rely on two things through the winter – FirstDefense (quick snort up each nostril whenever someone around me coughs!) and hot lemon with local (unheated) honey, regularly. I do swear by this combo
These sound great. Although we don’t tend to get as many colds here in Portugal we do pick them up through our regular travels so something to boost our immune system against this is ideal!
Sounds like I will be needing this for the current season. Don’t need the bugs that come hand in hand with the weather.
