In the new Schleich Farm Life, the farmer is kept busy looking after pets and farm animals big and small, including sheep, cows and dogs. The large farmyard is the centrepiece of this Schleich play world. It comes complete with figurines and accessories, so children can get playing straight away.
As well as the new 2016 playsets, lots of new animal figurines and accessories guaranteed to provide hours of fun will be added to the range and we have been sent some to review.
With the My First Farm Animals and the Feeding on the farm playsets, Sebastian re-enact his first experiences of farm life just like he sees when we visit our local children’s farm, Farmer Palmers with a cow, a calf, a pig, a hen and a cute little lamb, who are all waiting to be fed.
The Stable Cleaning Kit with a The Shropshire lamb and the Fleckvieh calf have just come into the world, and are still a little wobbly on their feet. Sebastian needs to give them a lot of care to make sure they stay healthy. To do this he feeds the animals and brings them a bucket of fresh water to ensure they have enough to drink, then he takes the broom and sweeps the walkway between the stalls.
Besides the various playsets, farm fans can also look forward to great new figurines in the coming year: from cute doggies to impudent geese and proud bulls, there is something for every aspiring farmer. There are also plenty of new accessories to choose from, ranging from additional food for the animals to farmyard equipment such as wheelbarrows and buckets.
Like all Schleich products, the new Farm World figurines and playsets are designed with attention to detail and hand-painted with care. Children can come up with their own designs, so they can let their imaginations run wild and embrace their creativity.
This looks like such a lovely little set, my little girl is animal crazy at the moment. I think I will have to get her some of these for her birthday in a few weeks xx
Those look like fab toys! My daughter used to love farm animals. Luckily for her, she inherited a lot of my husband’s old farm animals/farm sets! And they are all made in England, not China. I don’t think they make these kind of toys anymore. I call them antiques 😉 x

We do love Schleich figures because they are so well made and very lifelike.
As a child I remember being so envious of other people’s farm sets and really wanted one for my kids. I’ve just realised that I never did it! And now it’s too late. I’ll have to put it on my list for grandchildren 😉

No matter how many animal toys I buy for my girls they still nag me about getting a dog. These look really nice though.

My kids have long since packed toys like this away but they used to adore playing with their farm set when they were toddlers! I’m glad Sebby enjoys his set!

My little sister loves her little farm animals at the moment and I am sure she wont mind adding a few more to her repertoire. Lol she loves Peppa Pig so the pig will be her favourite!
Your post took me back to the days when my youngest was mad about animals, he was totally obsessed, and would have loved a set like this, they look amazing.
We had some of these and another range a few years ago – they are great quality!
