One Careplast – A review

Unless you have been living under a rock recently, you will have noticed that a number of Bloggers have been doing all they can to promote Charity organisations such as Give as You Live and Share Niger

I want to introduce you to The One Foundation.

The One Foundation is One’s charitable arm that distributes all the money they earn from One products and your donations.

They a registered UK charity, working with communities in Africa to address some of the most pressing humanitarian issues of the day, including clean drinking water, HIV, nutrition and sanitation.
They aim to focus our efforts where it’s needed most, funding like-for-like projects through the sale of One products and services.

I was sent some One Careplast kid’s washproof plasters to review:

One Careplast

Each pack contains 24 plasters in 3 different sizes which have a funky leopard print design.

One Careplast

Isaac loved the fact that he had a Leopard plaster on his leg, but Kian at almost 12 wasn’t so sure.  My 19 year old daughter however loves this design and has stolen taken some to keep in her handbag for nights and out and the inevitable blisters from wearing silly shoes.

The plasters are a good size and have a good stick that survived a turn in the shower.  They are labelled for kids, but I would happily wear one at almost 38 years old.

What’s even better is that sales will fund the purchase of medical kits and bicycle ambulances for rural communities in Malawi, which might be up to 15km away from the nearest health centre and where medical supplies are often unavailable. Bicycle ambulances let healthcare volunteers travel large distances on otherwise inaccessible roads to reach patients in remote villages. They take an average of 25 patients a month to hospital, including pregnant women. The medical kits make sure first aid treatment is available promptly to communities of about 1,000 people.

One Careplast are available to purchase at The Co-Op for £1.39 and you can feel great about yourself knowing that 100% of the profit will go to help those who really need it!
