What’s in Your Toddler’s Changing Bag?

As a mother to young children I still have to carry all the paraphernalia that goes with them, however they are at an age where I have lost the big pram alongside the matching changing bag.

John Lewis understand how important it is for you to have all the essentials to hand when you are a parent on the go and have found that baby changing bags can often be limited in design and size so they have teamed up with Storksak to launch their stunning range of baby changing bags which are vibrant in colour but remain discreet and come with ample space for baby and toddler supplies.

The team at John Lewis sent me the the strikingly fashionable Storksak Catherine changing bag which includes a changing mat and an external detachable pouch. The design features a short handbag strap and a longer, detachable strap with soft padding for carrying the bag comfortably over the shoulder. The compartmentalized design includes two zipped, concealed front pockets and an insulated side pocket for carrying bottles.

 I fell in love with the bag as soon as I saw it.  The bag has a relaxed, slouchy style and gentle contrasting colours which is just what I look for in a handbag, although I do have my eye on the teal Lucinda changing bag too. The refined, canvas-style fabric is supersoft and embellished with delicate silver-coloured detailing and hardware.

But now that Sebastian is 21 months and Eliza 4 what do I keep in it?

For me my changing bag is also my handbag.  I no longer take a pushchair everywhere as Sebastian likes to walk, however, for practicalities sake I still need to take pretty much everything but the kitchen sink with me!

I think this bag is going to be used well past my kids needing me to carry a changing bag!

I really like the look of this bag!Been thinking I could do with something slightly larger but really don’t want to get a traditional changing bag as want it to be a bit more ladylike, I’m at the potty training stage so carry pants and leggings too.As well as lego men,soggy monster munch and whatever else the kids sneak in there 😀 x
