Review: Naylor Activity Tunnel

Daily activity is important for young children because being active helps young children’s balance, coordination and mobility.

Being physically active in the early years is also known to support brain development, help develop social skills and emotional wellbeing as well as enhancing bone health and muscular development.

Some children love exercise and thrive running around, jumping and climbing, whereas other need a little more encouragement.

The best way to encourage children to exercise is to make it fun and one of Lilah’s favourite toys is her kids play tunnel, one of the Good Play Guides recommended toys this Christmas.

This robust play tunnel is up 4 times thicker than other alternatives and comes in 6 bright colours, including our rainbow one.

The tunnel is suitable for indoor and outdoor use and is the perfect portal for little imaginations to come to life, as they crawl through tunnels, to explore faraway places or be taken to new worlds.

We have also discovered that they make a great hiding place during a game of hide and seek.

The play tunnel is flexible and durable thanks to a supportive wire coil with protective end caps which is fully encased in a durable and hard wearing cover strip and for those worrying about germs, the tunnels are wipe clean and concertina down for easy storage.

Each tunnel is 1.5m long and a diameter of 480mm, making them big enough even for the big kids to join in.

The Naylor Activity Tunnel is also available as a 3m tunnel and costs from £36 at https://nayloractivitytunnels.co.uk
