We are a generation who have been brought up with Super Mario games and they are still a much loved brand.
A great way to spend time with the kids, as a family and bring the fun of Super Mario to life, bonding over the nostalgia from the older generation’s memories of Super Mario, is to play the new range of toys from Epoch Games.
Super Mario Adventure Game
It’s time to help Super Mario make his way to Bowser castle to save the day, and this deluxe adventure game from Pocket Money (RRP: £30) will help you on your way.
All you need to do to succeed in your goal is take the ball all over the maze using the buttons and several command leavers – but watch out for your enemies, they’re hiding in secret traps. Explore all the tricks and traps you need to reach your end.
The set is partially assembled and is easy to set up and build. Sebby really enjoyed putting all the stickers in the right place.
Playing the game was a bit of trial and error, but he soon figured out the tricks to get ball from the top of the track, to the bottom.
Super Mario Blow Up Shaky Tower
The Super Mario Shaky Tower (RRP: £20) was definitely Sebby’s favourite of the two games.
This fun kids’ game encourages them to balance for fun.
The Super Mario Blow Up! Shaky Tower is a game of skill you balance your favourite characters from Super Mario World on the wobbly tower, without dropping the ball. And if they do? Ka-boom! Time for another go.
Super Mario Balancing Game Ground Stage
Bring all the Mushroom Kingdom action to playtime with this Ground Stage Balancing Game (RRP: £10) from the Super Mario range.
It’s time to balance! Can your little one help Super Mario and his friends stay stable on the wibbly-wobbly base? Roll the dice to see how many characters they need to balance before moving on to the next level.
This simple game is compatible with other Balancing Games in the range, as well as other link system games and characters (each sold separately). Sebby found this set too easy for him, but he loves adding the characters to the Shaky Tower.
