I was first introduced to Polarn O.Pyret back in 2012 and instantly fell in love with their clothing range for children, particularly their range of coats and jackets which protect them from the wet and cold.
Polarn O Pyret, pronounced Pole Arn oh peer et, means “Buddy and the Little One” in Swedish, also known as PO.P for short, design attractive, functional and sustainable children’s clothes that can be handed down for generations, and they are showing no signs of slowing down, with a wide product range in organic cotton and recycled materials. In fact, Sebastian is still wearing Isaac’s coat which last him for 3 years and it still looks as good as new.
We were invited to try some of their 2021 clothing range.
Sebby chose a gorgeous snuggly fleece-lined shirt. In a classic check it has two chest pocket and popper placket for easy dressing and detachable hood for extra cosiness.
He has lived in this shirt since he got it at the beginning of November and it still looks as good a new.
Eliza chose the Cotton Heart Jumper dress, which features a bold heart print with plan soft ribbed trim and a tie waist. This dress coordinates with black leggings with a matching heart design panel on each side.
Isaac, at 13, is at the tail end of their clothing range, but luckily for us, their outer-clothing range comes up on the larger side, so we chose a snuggly parka style coat.
I am not normally a fan of black coats, especially as Isaac cycles to school, but he has to wear one as part of his uniform. This one appealed to me as it features reflectors on the back and front, meaning he can be seen when he is cycling.
This brilliant coat is waterproof and comes in a long length with a soft micro fleece lining and cosy padding to keep the cold out. In fact, Isaac was the only one of us to stay completely dry on a recent visit to Manchester.
I am pleased to say that the clothes have been worn and washed consistently and still look as good as new!!
Have you seen the clothing range from Polarn O Pyret?

What beautiful clothes, I have to confess I’ve never heard of that make before, but will definitely be looking them up now. My Daughter loves jumper dresses and that heart design looks right up her street. For boys I find it harder to find things my son would like (He would live in football kits if he could!) That checked shirt looks like it could tempt him though.
Great choices all of you. It is all super stylish, I love the fleece lined shirt, my son would love that. The coat looks very cosy and I love the pattern of the dress. I will have to take a browse.
