After the excitement and busyness of last week, this week has been back down to earth with a bump, with a full week back at work, therefore it is all a bit quiet on the blog front.
Monday 9th August
It is unusual for me to work Monday’s but I am the only one trained to cover this week, so I handed over my Lilah responsibilities to her other Nanny and headed into work.
When I got home, Sebby was itching to open his lolly that he got from Warner Bros the day before.
Tuesday 10th August
During our visit to Warner Bros, we had some pictures taken and I finally got round to downloading them. Eliza is over the moon with this one, as she looks like her favourite character, Nymphadora Tonks.
I love our family “wanted” poster.
Wednesday 11th August
Work again for me in the morning and then I arrived home to a track and trace ping.
My husband got one too, so it must have come from our visit to Camp Bestival, where we were outside the entire weekend.
Thursday 12th August
My only photo from today is one of the new blue token box my friend Tracy helped me make to try and boost our community score at work.
Friday 13th August
I found work a bit stressful today, trying to do three roles in one and feeling under appreciated, so I took myself off for a walk at lunchtime.
Our local council has not been cutting the grass to help the wildlife. In most places it just looks overgrown and untidy, but where they have planted meadow flowers, it is beautiful.
Saturday 14th August
My friend Tracy, who covered the box for me, has started making hats to go alongside her current business of making teddy bears. Eliza and Sebby were over the moon with their new hats which I collected after finishing work.
Sunday 15th August
Although it was another work day, I was out by lunchtime, so took the kids to Christchurch and their favourite parks.
I didn’t realise that the fair was in town, so didn’t have any money with, however, we wandered around and took in the atmosphere.
I have promised the kids that we will go back next week to try some of the rides ourselves.
How has your week been?
I love the photo of Eliza riding the broomstick and the wanted poster. What fun.
Fab photos. x
Love that wanted poster too, and your friend is very clever, Eliza’s hat looks fab. Hoping I don’t get pinged now we’ve started having proper days out again #365
Love that photo of Eliza on the broomstick – what a great photo. It seems a bit crazy to be pinged with only one day left of self-isolation. Lovely shot of the meadow flowers. I love Eliza’s new hat. #project365
Not another self isolation, you’ve had so many! We went to HP a few years ago and loved it but am now reading the books with the kids so think we should go again! #project365
A ping! With one day to go… it does make you wonder why they bothered doesnt it? Sounds like a buys week juggling work and kids over the Summer and never quite feeling you are doing enough. Glad you took some time out for yourself its tough isnt it? Really like the HP pictures! So much fun.
