British contemporary socks brand PAIRS Scotland has launched of three new collections; a luxuriously soft, yet hard wearing
Mohair Sock in a range of colourways; an Undyed Alpaca range in four natural colours; and a sumptuously warm Alpaca Bed Socks in a range of light colours.
Known as the noble fibre, Alpaca is luxurious yet resilient whilst being sumptuously thick and warm. The sustainably sourced fleeces of alpacas and the mohair fibres from the angora goat used in the launch collections are strong and breathable, whilst giving a lustrous quality to the colour ways.
The socks are luxurious yet resilient making PAIRS Scotland an excellent choice for anyone making lifestyle changes away from disposable cotton or irritable woollen socks.
All PAIRS Scotland socks are knitted and hand finished in Britain by dedicated experts in a traditional mill. The process from the hills of South Africa for the mohair fibre, and South America for the alpaca fibre, to customers’ sock drawers is embedded with integrity at every stage of creation; making these socks an intelligent, slow fashion choice for those looking for an everyday luxury from a naturally renewable resource, whilst also supporting traditional industry in Britain.
PAIRS was founded by a formidable pair of businesswomen Anna Wilson and Alice Macfarlane, based in Perthshire, who made the bold step to launch a new slow fashion business in the post Covid-19 lockdown.
Thanks to PAIRS Scotland, I have 1 x Alpaca Bed Socks, 1 x Mohair Socks and 1 x Undyed Alpaca Socks to giveaway to one lucky reader.
