Premium organic baby and toddler food brand, Piccolo, has recently launched a first-of-its-kind baby food subscription service and we were invited to try it with Lilah.
Called ‘Just-For-You’, the new service delivers a new personalised selection of Piccolo’s pouches, snacks, cooking ingredients and formula right to families’ doors, no online delivery slot required.
The contents of each box are based on a questionnaire completed by parents and tailored to babies’ age and dietary requirements. It will also ask for lifestyle details and eating goals that the parents might have, such as including more vegetables or increasing animal protein. Parents can then provide feedback on their baby’s likes and dislikes, and the box will be adjusted accordingly.
Unlike existing subscription services for fresh baby food, Piccolo’s boxes contain on-the-go options, giving parents maximum convenience from a brand they know and trust. Parents also have the flexibility to set their own delivery schedule, with no minimum subscription term required.
This is the first time Piccolo has offered its products on a subscription basis. The launch comes after the success of the brand’s temporary online shop, introduced during lockdown. Piccolo learned that parents did not want to spend time in the supermarkets with kids-in-tow, resulting in their online shopping. Parents also told Piccolo that they did not enjoy researching and planning meals for their babies.
The brand therefore developed the baby food subscription service to meet these needs, saving parents time shopping in-store or online and selecting healthy, balanced meals for their babies.
Abbey has been buying the Piccolo cooking range for Lilah ever since she started weaning as they use healthy organic (and very tasty) ingredients, meals and snacks to help you get the nutritional balance right everyday.
The pouches are great for when you are out and about, or in a rush. At 11 months, Lilah is Miss Independent and loves that she is able to feed herself. It always amazes me that she squeezes every last drop out of her pouch too.
Boxes are available to order now from Piccolo’s website, www.mylittlepiccolo.com. Prices start at £35 for formula boxes containing 2 tubs. Prices start at £50 for a food box containing 30 products, and 2 cooking ingredients can be added for a further £5. All boxes will also include recipe cards and weaning guides. Delivery is free of charge.

Not heard of this brand but love the idea of a baby food subscription book.
We love piccolo and have used their stuff for years . Nila still enjoys snacking on their bits
The pouches are so neat, they look so convenient and portable. They didn’t have anything like that when my boys were young.
Olivia loved Piccolo when she was younger. They have some fab products and I love that they’ve started this subscription concept too.
Never heard of or used Piccolo before but it looks great. Love that it is a subscription box and that it can tailored to your baby’s age and dietary requirements.
I’d never thought of a baby food subscription box but what a great idea – less stress for parents particularly in the current climate.
I enjoyed weaning little J and seeing his reactions to the variety of foods but it definitely is a worrying and nervous time.
