The Best Destinations for an Adults-Only Getaway

Sometimes it’s nice to get away with the company of just adults. You can have some intelligent conversation that is a little more sophisticated and mentally stimulating. You can also engage in adults-only activities, stuff like romantic walks on the beach, white knuckle adventures, and nights dancing in clubs and bars.

If this sounds like a great idea, you’re in good company. There are plenty of travel companies that specialise in catering for couples and groups of adults that want to escape to a more sophisticated world for a short while.

Here are some of the best destinations to consider for your next adults-only getaway.

Las Vegas

Las Vegas

Las Vegas recently ran a string of ads aimed at attracting families that wanted to avoid preparing and cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, offering the city’s hotels as a viable alternative.

Despite this, the city continues to be a playground for adults with some of the largest casinos in the world, packed with all the games you can imagine including roulette, baccarat, and poker. You’ll even find options similar to 3 card brag at MansionCasino UK and plenty of slot machines.

Outside of the casinos, there is a wealth of Michelin starred restaurants, sophisticated bars, and plenty of shows from A-list celebrities like Lady Gaga and Penn & Teller.

There are also shooting ranges, race tracks, and lots of sports bars. If that’s not enough, you can jump off the top of the Stratosphere Tower Hotel or strap yourself into the several Las Vegas roller coasters.

London

London is a great destination for both short city breaks and longer stays. You’ll find everything from sophisticated art galleries to the famous Hippodrome casino.

London’s size and diverse population have created a city with one of the broadest ranges of entertainment options in the world. From quiet pub quizzes in some of the city’s traditional watering holes to themed venues like Bubbly & Art where you and friends can spend the night painting on canvases, grooving to the music and enjoying complimentary drinks.

There’s even a venue called Ballie Ballerson, an adults-only ball pit where you can dive in and swim among more than 1 million plastic balls.

You can also enjoy walking the historic streets of the British capital, indulging in some retail therapy on Oxford Street, and enjoying the view from the top of the London Eye. London also has a wide selection of museums that cover everything from science to Sherlock Holmes.

Monaco

Monaco

The small Principality of Monaco has built a reputation for being one of the most glamorous destinations in the world. It has hosted the famous Monaco Grand Prix since the Formula One World Championship began in 1950, and it’s become one of the highlights of the season.

The marina is always lined with the superyachts of the rich and famous, and there are few places in the world where you’ll see so many Ferraris, Lamborghinis and other supercars cruising the streets. The Casino de Monte Carlo is another fantastic venue to enjoy classic card and table games and is one of the most popular destinations for tourists.

Paris

Eiffel Tower

There are few better places to take a stroll through the streets before spending an afternoon watching the city rush by from a little bakery with a coffee and a croissant.

When you’re done, you can take a trip up the Eiffel Tower and admire some of the famous works of art in the Louvre.

These are just some of the fantastic options for adults-only getaways, presenting interesting and exciting things to do while you’re away with your friends or significant other.

  1. This was the most fun experience ever!! Amazing place, great vibes, creative cocktails, and incredibly fun! My friends, I enjoyed a whole evening spent at Ballie Ballerson with the pink ball pit being a personal highlight. We had a VIP table for the evening and the hospitality we received was second to none! I would highly recommend this place and hope to return soon.
