We are still getting over the disappointment that Camp Bestival has been cancelled this year, as we have been attending for the last 7 years without fail.
However, the help make up for it, we will be joining the Play At Home Fest, which is taking place this Bank Holiday weekend, on 23rd and 24th May 2020.
It is being organised by Dr. Gummer’s Good Play Guide, @GoodPlayGuide across social media. The festival is part of a push to allow families to thrive not just survive during lockdown and offers a wide range of activities and performances across 3 virtual stages!
This FREE 2-day action-packed, fun-filled, VIRTUAL play festival can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home.
All you need is:
- A stable internet connection
- A device of choice to watch the streams on (mobile, computer, TV)
- Your FREE Tickets – Homemade wristbands are optional!
There is also the big Play at Home Fest giveaway, with lots of fab prizes worth an incredible £380.65!!!!!
See you there!!
This sounds wonderful and very entertaining! I cannot believe it’s free! We will be sure to check it out.
We are looking to take part in this over the weekend, so many wonderful activities and things taking place – all for FREE! Fantastic!
This is a great idea, and an excellent way to still bring some entertainment for everyone, we might not be able to attend things at the moment but you can still have the celebration at home.
I think it’s so good that festivals and other places are doing these virtual events to try and keep the magic of festivals alive. I’ve had a few festivals cancelled and I’m gutted x
What a fantastic idea to keep the spirit up by getting to participate in the free play at home fest! Do share some photos after and let us know how it went.
A virtual playfest sounds great. We still have time to join. I am calling my daughter now so that she and her son can have some fun even during this lock down period. Thanks for sharing the info.
Great idea – a virtual playfest! Also, I love the fact it has a big giveaway attached too. Will be a lifestyle for many frazzled parents lol
