I was first introduced to Magicubes from Geomag at Blog On Conference and was so impressed by them that I bought some for the pre-school where I work.
They were a huge hit with the kids and we have subsequently added to the collection with several sets.
Magicube is a magnetic construction system that has turned the classic cube into something “magical”.
The cubes can be attached on any side, and even remain suspended, making building fun and easy.
The set we have been sent to review is a free building one and can be arranged by colours, but other sets available include pictures to match up, word and number play and even characters such as Paw Patrol and Peppa Pig.
You can make wonderful constructions that are easy to build for everyone, including small children and because all sets are compatible with each other, you can make some amazing creations.
The Magicube range has been developed for two specific age groups: 1 1/2+ and 3+ and even though Eliza and Sebastian are 9 and 6, they still enjoy playing with them and creating some epic structures.

These look like a lot of fun. It might be the first time I could pretend to complete a rubix cube…. think the kids will buy that??
These would be great for children of most ages x
Oh these look fab! My two year old boy would actually love them! He’s really into magnets at the moment! Caitylis x x
My daughter absolutely loves building things. Great for encouraging a love of STEM.
I love the look of these and they’re perfect for my toddler. He adores building… and destroying. I’ll check them out.
It is taking me back to a Rubiks cube – must be that similar pattern – looks like these will be ace for kids and I can see the appeal for older kids too
This looks fun and a great educational toy for kids. It can promote problem solving and help with fine motor skills as well as being a great resource for building and teaching colours! Love it!
These look like a brilliant toy. We have a set of magnetic tiles, but cubes would give you so many other possibilities.
These are great, we have some and I love how versatile they are. They will last for years too so can be passed down to future kids
These are great fun and perfect for little ones to learn through play at home.
These look like great fun – perfect for helping kids with their construction skills. These would be great for Olivia.
Kids love building and constructing things so these look great for helping them to develop upon those skills!
That’s great that the pre-school love them, I remember still being into Duplo even when I was much older, some things like this still retain their joy x
These look really good! love that there are different sets too. The Safari animals look like a fab set.
Toby would have loved these when he was little – he loved building!
Erin loves to build things. I’ll have to look into them for her.
These look fab and I love how colourful they are. I am definitely going to get a few sets for my little girl who is desperate to build things like LEGO with her big brother but is too little to be able to do so. I think she would have great fun building with magicubes!
These look like great fun, I love the colours as they are so bright, and know that my kids would really enjoy them.
