Finding days out for kids that beats the Autumn / Winter miserable weather can be a challenge.
We were invited to review the new Jumpin Inflatable Fun Park that has recently opened in Salisbury and the kids loved every second of being there, so much so I struggled to tear them away.
Situated a stones throw away from Old Sarum, in a huge warehouse space, Jumpin Fun is an inflatable theme park with enough wall to wall bouncing fun for just about anyone, of any age!
I strongly advise that you book before you go, as there are a limited number of sessions available per time slot and it was fully booked when we went, on their first session on Sunday morning.
If you have not filled out the liability waiver online before your visit, you will be required to do so on arrival, before sitting down to watch a fun safety video.
It is then time to remove your shoes and jewellery and store them in the lockers, before heading into 20,000 sqft of inflatable fun.
There are two obstacle courses either side of the building, with one that reminded me of a section on the Ninja Warrior Course, with giant balls to navigate and swinging balls to avoid.
At the end of the building is a vertical wall with three different heights to attempt, two giant slides to whizz down and a leap of faith drop onto a crash mat.
The inflatables are a safe way to test your boundaries and as the kids grew in confidence, they got ever more daring.
The centre is well staffed with a conscientious team, making sure that everyone is having fun, but in a safe way.
The kids adored the Gladiator style game, where you wore giant boxing gloves, and attempted to knock your opponent off the platform.
As well as bouncing, there was plenty to test their climbing skills.
There was a challenging climbing wall as well as a pyramid to climb.
Your Jumpin ticket gives you 1 hour on the giant inflatable and another hour in their Free Zone.
The Free Zone is home to a giant ball pit and a spinning wipeout game.
In the ball pit there are also larger inflatable footballs to shoot into a hoop on the wall and whilst we were there, the kids were challenged to find one of five golden balls to win a free slushy from the cafe, which added to the fun.
The spinning wipe out game was hilarious with the kids starting out well until their legs got tired.
Once play has finished there is a small cafe and viewing area upstairs, along with a play area for under-5’s.
Jumpin doesn’t allow people to bring their own food and drink onto the premises, but the cafe prices are really reasonable with a cup of tea costing Β£2.50, Slushies Β£2 each and pizza Β£5.
The kids loved drinking their slushies as they watched the next group having fun in the inflatables.
Ticket prices cost Β£8 per person for children aged 5 and over. Under 4’s cost Β£5 and must be accompanied by a bookable full paying adult or a Family / Group of 4 ticket costs Β£25.
Top Tips for visiting Jumpin Inflatable Fun
- Wear long sleeved top and long trousers to prevent any friction burn
- Socks must be worn at all time
- Get there at least 30 mins before your session to give you time to book in, watch the video and put your valuables in a locker
- Take enough money to buy a drink – all that jumping is thirsty work
- HAVE FUN!!
