Brio World: Transport Helicopter Review

We are big fans of wooden toys in our house and in particular our wooden train set.

I am always keen to expand the set with different accessories to extend play and we recently added a bus and train station which the kids love.

Now I need to get an airport as we have just been sent the Transport Helicopter to review.

In the box is:

  • Brio Transport Helicopter
  • Pilot
  • 2 x pieces of cargo
  • 2 x wagons

We live on the flight path to Bournemouth airport and often see all sorts of aircraft coming and going and the kids get especially excited by helicopters.

The pilot can be sat in the cockpit by lifting up the plastic windscreen at the front and behind him the cargo bay is ready to carry some serious weight – even two fully loaded wagons.

Once the helicopter is loaded, spin the rotor of the helicopter, take off and soar high above your BRIO World before landing again and sending the cargo off to its final destination.

Made with a combination of wooden and sturdy plastic, the Cargo Transport Helicopter is built to last and has an RRP of Β£34.99.

  1. Ahhh amazing this looks like hours of fun! My daughter loves playing with anything transport related they can learn so many things from them and Brio is always a winner in my book.

  2. I love Brio even though it’s so expensive. It’s definitely an example of “you get what you pay for” except in the good way – you pay a lot but you get something really high quality. Reminds me how they made toys when I was a kid.
