Does your child dream of playing for their favourite football club?
Playing football for your team is a rite of passage for many youngsters and at one point or another, all of my boys have dreamed of playing for Chelsea and had their rooms adorned with pictures of their favourite players, branded bedding and even signed shirts.
We were sent “When I grow up, I’m going to play for Chelsea” book to review which is part of the ‘When I grow up’ range, that has titles for over 64 UK football teams!
This vibrant story follows a young boy, Jack, with an ambition to play for his favourite football team.
Encouraged by his proud Dad, he takes part in tryouts for his local football team which gives him the courage to have big dreams – to one day play for Chelsea.
The colourful story is aimed at children in key stage 1 (age 4-7) and is great for encouraging children to follow their dreams. We are a football loving family and love nothing more than some footie related banter and this book is perfect for introducing younger members to take an interest in the beautiful game.
Thanks to Hometown World I have a “When I grow up, I’m going to play for Chelsea” to giveaway to three lucky readers.
