MUSON Action Camera Review

Are you hankering after an action cam, but cannot justify the cost?

Well I might just have the answer for you.

We were sent the MUSON Action Camera to review over the summer holidays and unlike some of their more expensive competitors it comes with a handy carrycase and some fabulous accessories and mounts and costs less than £50!!

Muson Action Camera

First of all you need a microSD card. We bought a class 10 32GB one to take on holiday which was perfect to deal with the speed the camera needs.

The case is made of a strong, water resistant material which covers the outside and the inside is full of sponge cushions to keep the camera safe from the shock of carriage.

Inside the case you will find the WIFI Camera, 2.4G Wireless RF Remote waist, Carrying Bag, Waterproof Housing, Handle Bar/Pole Mount, 7x Mounts, Clip1, Clip2, a Helmet Mount, Bandages, 2x 1050mah Batteries, 1x Tethers, 1x USB Cable, 1x Charger, 1x Lens Cloth and a User Manual.

The camera itself came with a full battery so could be used straight away.

The camera is compatible with the Ez iCam app which is available on iTunes and Google Play and connects to the camera through the Wifi settings.

We used the camera to take footage of our day out at Typhoon Lagoon at Walt Disney World and to take film of some of the shows we watched during our holiday.

It comes with a 2.0″ Inch Full Colour LCD Display at the back of the camera, which allows you to see real time images on the camera, although the menu can be tricky to see in bright sunlight, so it is best to set it up in a shaded area before you need it.

I have to say it works better in brightly lit situations, so was perfect for the waterpark as it was brilliantly sunny all day. The camera in its casing is waterproof to 30m and has a 170 wide angle lens to make sure you catch all the action. It did well with the fireworks and light shows too.

My only disappointment was the battery life and it lasted around 90 minutes on a full charge, however, the camera does come with a second battery for backup and can be charged with a portable usb powerbank, so unless you are doing an activity where you can’t change the batteries over this really isn’t an issue.

For under £50 I really cannot fault this Action Camera and Muson have offered me a fabulous discount code to get another £11 off. Simply head to amazon and enter code: QJAS3UEC

  1. Wow what an incredible price and the quality looks really good! Shame about the battery life, but I guess it can’t have it all for less than £50 🙂

  2. Oh this sounds fab I have been looking at these type of cameras for when we go on holiday but found them so pricey. We will only be using it for in the pool so I think something like this would be ideal, bargain price x

  4. This 4K gopro is awesome. This thing shoots 4k videos and takes 20MP photos which are really awesome. I absolutely love it . Comes with a really cool box made of transparent cover , which reflects the camera so cool. Spending $90 was so much better than spending $300 worth of camera. This one has all the gadgets needed for adventure.
    This will help some.
