Roll on Summer: Sun Lounger Trolley

Living in Bournemouth we spend a lot of time at the beach.

Some of our visits are spontaneous where we arrive with nothing with us, but mostly it is a planned excursion complete with a beach tent, picnic, buckets and spades, games and swimwear.

Most of the beaches are accessed via a zig zag walkway from the cliff top and now Sebastian no longer has a buggy to balance everything on, it can be quite a challenge to take everything down to the beach, especially if I am on my own with the kids.

The Roll on Summer Sun lounger Trolley is made from a lightweight tubular anodised aluminium frame, weighing between 4.3kg and 5.3kg, depending on style of wheel – the large white wheel is perfect for a sandy beach as it glides through the sand, however I plumped for the slightly heavier off-road wheels as we will be using ours for camping too. In fact it is so light that even Sebby can pull it along when fully loaded!

The trolley is ideal for trekking to the beach, camping, festivals, picnics and outdoor concerts in the park and has three modes – trolley mode, free-standing to load and unload (with kickstand out) and lounger mode when relaxing!

Once you are at the beach, or the idea picnic spot, simply unpack the trolley and it turns into a handy sun lounger, complete with sunshade and small pillow. It is perfect for Mum to relax on whilst watching the kids play (if you get a look in that is)

The Sun Lounger measures 102cm (L) x 54cm (W) with the sunshade height 73cm and the easy to clean fabric seat sling in 3 colour options and two material types – yellow and multi stripe are PVC coated cotton and blue and white stripped are textilene (a PVC coated polyester mesh) – both material types are durable, shower proof, mould resistant and wipe clean.

The back rest works on a ratchet system so has several different positions which you can adjust for your comfort and the frame folds flat to store.

This trolley is going to be my beach saviour and will be in constant use. The best bit is……..the kids want to do all the work so I don’t even have to pull it!!

The only negative to the trolley is that, although it folds almost completely flat, it is still quite long and only just fits in the boot of my Touran. If you had a smaller car, you would probably have to tuck it behind the back seats.
