The all new Pirates of Skeleton Bay at Legoland Windsor

Visiting Legoland is something we do fairly regularly with our Merlin Annual passes.

When visiting we always seem to radiate towards the same rides with Atlantis being our first port of call followed by the Squid Surfers.

Isaac loves Laser Raiders and this time Sebby was old enough to join him and actually scored more than Isaac and Daddy, much to their disbelief, whilst Eliza and I visited the Lego Friends area and spotted Olivia, Mia, Stephanie, Andrea and Emma who were all happy to pose for a photo.

The Pirates of Skeleton Bay is a firm favourite with all of the kids and is something we have always watched. The show hadn’t changed since Abbey and Callan were little but this year there was something a bit different.

Pirates of Skeleton Bay

The show still had a similar story but with the introduction of Captain Pirate, a lego minifigure character who was cross that all the other pirates had taken the good names. There was still the swashbuckling fights, acrobatics and of course the jet ski but they have added some stunning pyrotechnics to coincide with the swashbuckling action.

Once the show was over we headed off to explore and stumbled across the new Ninjago World which is due to open at the end of May and will feature a 4D interactive ride and some training camp activities as we headed for the play area.

Legoland Windsor

We have never really explored Duplo Land but spent ages playing in the park and watching a performance of the Elf and the Shoemaker, before heading off and posing with various Lego models throughout the park.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable day at Legoland and cannot wait to return to see the new Ninjago World next month.

  1. Looks so much fun! We explored the Ninjago world in LegoLand Billund last summer and the kids absolutely loved it. Hope the UK one will be similarly good. Need to make sure to catch the Pirates of Skeleton Bay too

  3. We just got back from a day at Legoland and my daughter LOVED this. Another reason to make a visit to Legoland for those who haven’t been or are thinking of returning.

  5. I haven’t been to LEGOLAND is such a long time (since I was a child), but I remember loving it and getting my ‘driving license’! It’s somewhere on our list of places to visit with our daughters 🙂

  8. It is a shame we live so far away, I often see adverts or info about Legoland and think how much my little boy would love it. It looks so much fun, and so much to do.
