I have almost completed my Christmas shopping now so my attentions have turned to helping Santa decide what to put in the kids stockings.
We set a strict budget at Christmas, as having 6 children can make it an expensive time and larger presents are always from us and smaller, inexpensive presents are sent to the big man to help pad out the kids stockings.
I always find stocking fillers are more fun to buy and the kids are mostly happy with cheap and cheerful items that bottles of bubbles, hair accessories and toy cars but here are some ideas if you are struggling.
For football mad girls and boys, why not get them their very own personalised football from Mitre. Isaac loves his and at least he comes home with the correct ball after playing outside with his friends!
The best thing is, it comes in a box so is easy to wrap too!
For car loving children, how about some Tonka vehicles. We were recently sent the Tonka Diecast Emergency Vehicle Set and Sebby loves racing them around the lounge and teaming them up with his Brio Rescue Set.
For little Princesses, or Prince’s with long hair, how about a funky MiniU Pro-Styler hairbrush that takes the pain, drama and stress out of hair brush time.
Unlike most detangling brushes the Pro Styler is designed with ultra-thin, super-soft flexible bristles that gently glide through the hair without snagging or pulling, removing knots and tangles. An air-cushioned pad follows the contour of the head for gentle and comfortable brushing on sensitive scalps. For easy handling, its rubber coated handle gives great grip and control for glide through styling without dropping the brush and best of all, it comes in four funky colours – lime green, orange, pink and white!

For Pokemon lovers, the Pokemon Handbook is a must have and I have tucked it away for Isaac as he is obsessed at the moment.
The book contains everything you ever wanted to know about every Pokemon – all in one place!
Back in August 2014 I reviewed some socks with a fun and witty difference – Chatty Feet. Well now they have some fun new designs for kids and adults alike, which are perfect for adding to a stocking, giving the traditional gift of socks a fun twist.
I hope that my list has given you some ideas. I also find that annuals, bubble bath and sweet treats go down well too and a bottle of wine for the elves for wrapping it all too ;0).
So I might’ve just clicked & purchased a personalised ball before I’d even read the rest of your post! haha Great list! And I’m sure my eldest will love his personalised ball!! 🙂
