Scoot Lock Review

We walk to school everyday!

Well, when I say walk, what I actually mean is that the kids scoot and I walk behind them watching them zoom off into the distance, come back to me and them zoom off again.

Having them ride their scooters to school is fun, it gives them exercise and generally sets i them in a happy mood for school, but there has always been one issue………I have to carry them home again.

This wasn’t really an issue when they all had microscooters as they are fairly lightweight and I attached a scoot ‘n’ pull to them so I could hook them on the buggy or over my shoulder, however, now we are moving on to more grown up stunt scooters it has become more tricky. The number of times one has spun around and into my ankles…….ouch!

The ideal solution was to leave them on the bike rack at school but with what? Traditional bike locks don’t work on scooters so that was no good.

We now have a solution……. the SCOOT LOCK™.

scoot-lock

Unlike other locks, which get lost or left at home, once fitted the SCOOT LOCK™ goes everywhere the scooter goes.

It is really easy to attach, simple to use, and has a combination lock, rather than a key to worry about. The combination is set at ‘0000’ when you purchase it and to change it to your own code simply hold in the small white button on the side and set it to a code you will remember.

The SCOOT LOCK™ has a 90cm long spring-loaded toughened steel cable, coated with plastic, which allows it to be locked to many items, for example; a railing, a post, a tree, other scooters – just about anything, so I know I can safely the leave the kids scooters in bike shelter at school.

The SCOOT LOCK™ come in five fabulous colours – black, blue, green, pink and red – one to suit everyone. The front panel is also reflective, perfect now the nights are drawing in however you can personalise your SCOOT LOCK™ with their pack of non-reflective animal faces if you choose to: Olive Owl, Polly Pig, Pella Panda, Alex Alligator and Finlay Fox. You can even use it on a buggy or the kids bikes.
