Frubes and Angry Birds Sleepover at Thorpe Park

Last week we were invited to Thorpe Park for an exclusive event with the Isaac, Eliza and Sebastian with Frubes.

This year Frubes are celebrating the release of The Angry Birds movie with special on-pack promotions offering families the chance to flock to the Bahamas for a fun-filled island holiday.  The promotion runs until 31 October 2016 and there are also weekly chances to win a whole host of Angry Birds Movie merchandise.

To celebrate this we got to attend a fun-fuelled dance workshop with Britain’s Got Talent star, Balance Unity, who not only taught the kids some awesome dance moves, just like the Angry Birds and mischievous Pigs in the movie, but he also talked about the role of vitamin D and calcium in building strong bones for dancing.

We began with a fun quiz for all the children about calcium and bones, which all the children got really involved in and then Balance Unity (Taylor) talked to all the children why calcium was important for dancing, which impressed all the kids!

We were then treated to our very own personal dance routine from Balance Unity himself before he got to work with the kids and I have to say he was a complete natural with them and is born to be a teacher.

From the youngest performer (Sebby) to the tweens, he had them acting like trees, doing their best robotics and even attempting some basic break dance moves whilst putting together a dance off performance between the birds and the pigs for us adults to watch at the end.

Just when we thought they couldn’t squeeze in any more fun, we also had exclusive access to the Angry Birds area of Thorpe Park where we got to experience the rides and take part in fun games.

To finish off the day of fun, we also got to stay in the onsite Thorpe Park Shark Hotel which was great fun, meaning that we also had early access to the rides the following morning and had all the big rides done by lunchtime!
