Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station Review

Fireman Sam’s fire station in Pontypandy burned down in 2015 and he now has a brand spanking new one in the TV series, so our old fire station that was well loved by Isaac was out of date.

We were sent the all new Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station from Character Online to review which replicates the new one in the show.

The fire station comes as a portable playset which opens up to reveal lots of features such as a working lift, fireman’s pole and double doors that open up.

There’s a turn table, a vehicle maintenance ramp, as well as an electronic control desk with lights and sounds, which takes 3 x AAA batteries (not included) and the set also includes Fireman Sam and Elvis Figures

Sebby loves opening all the doors, sending his vehicles into the station and acting out his favourite episodes. The set opens right out so you have plenty of access to all of the doors and features yet folds back down nice and small so you can take it away on your travels.

The set itself is fabulous and true to the TV show, however, the packaging clearly shows Jupiter in the picture but sadly it is not included which means you need to go the the added expense of buying the fire engine too if you want to put the set to its full use.

My other niggle with it is that the housing for the fireman’s pole is too narrow and although there is a clip so you can spin the characters down the pole, they get stuck as they come down.

The Fireman Sam Electronic Pontypandy Fire Station costs £39.99 and is available at all good toy shops.

  1. I was, and to some extent still am, obsessed with fire engines when I was younger, we lived opposite a fire station. My nephew now loves them and would love this x
