I like my children to dress as individuals and hate turning up to a party or day out and finding that there are three other children wearing exactly the same t-shirt as they are.

Last month I was introduced to a fabulous range of beautiful hand painted children’s t-shirts by Sophia Oliver Design.

Jana Liptakova is the lady behind the range and studied fashion at college in her home country of Slovakia before studying a degree in Fashion Design at Middlesex University.

Jana knows that every child loves animals and colours and she avoids writing slogans on the t-shirts as they are meant to be worn by little ones age 1-5 who don’t know how to read. She firmly believes that we should let children be children and enjoy expression via colour and art.

We were sent the hand painted smiley dinosaur short sleeved t-shirt to review, although Sebastian is convinced it is a crocodile. All their t-shirts are individually hand painted in the UK, using German Marabu textile paints which means that no one is exactly the same.

Each unique t-shirt is made from good quality 100% cotton which will keep your little one cool and comfortable in the summer and can be washed on a 40 degree machine wash. It is best to wash and iron inside to avoid any colour fade.
