Angry Birds are everywhere at the moment and there is something about them that the kids just love.
During half term Hubby took Isaac, Eliza and Kian to see Angry Birds the movie which sees the flightless birds lead a mostly happy existence, except for Red (Jason Sudeikis), who just can’t get past the daily annoyances of life. His temperament leads him to anger management class, where he meets fellow misfits Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb.
Red becomes even more agitated when his feathered brethren welcome green pigs to their island paradise. As the swine begin to get under his skin, Red joins forces with Chuck and Bomb to investigate the real reason behind their mysterious arrival.
Of course they had to go dressed accordingly and so when M&Co asked if we would like to review an item from their Angry Birds clothing collection it was the perfect opportunity to wear them.
Eliza chose the hooded zipper, which boasts an angry birds design. With long sleeves, centre zip fastening, ribbed trims, attached hood with printed lining and a quirky bird face graphic and a handy pouch pockets acting as the chest this pretty hoody is perfect for keeping warm on chillier summer days.
Isaac went for a short sleeve pure cotton t-shirt with a crew neck and a relaxed fit. This colourful t-shirt is finished with a cool Angry Birds print and the slogan, “I’m Not Mad, I’m Angry” and has become a firm favourite wardrobe staple.
All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the film which was aimed perfectly at the kids and tween market and we have also fallen in love with the Angry Birds LEGO set too, where you can act out scenes from the film.
Do you and your kids like Angry Birds?
My kids (and I) really enjoyed the film, I think they’d be really happy if they got the Lego!
My niece would love that pink hoodie , it’s really nice.
One does and one doesn’t.. lol! Great review and loving the Lego Angry Birds!!!
The twinnies wanted the trailer on again and again! They loved the tops too x
I love your daughter pink angry bird sweater- that’s really cute. I remember 5 years ago when I was at Disney World Florida being a queue for a ride and someone in front was talking about their being an Angry bird movie. Glad it finally out at cinema. xx
I find the trailer incredibly funny, much more so than I expected too x
I’ve never really been into angry birds the film looks good though.
I begrudgingly took the Beans to see this during half term and ended up absolutely loving it! I laughed so hard at parts of the film, I didn’t get bored once and the Beans really loved it too. Jelly Bean cried when we left because he wanted the cinema to put it on again. I had no idea they did Angry Birds Lego too, they would love that!
Tyler Lee never sits through more than 5 minutes of a film so he’s never seen Angry Birds. The Lego looks really cool though.
I hd no idea this was turned into a movie but honestly I never really got into this as I royally sucked at that game.
