How long have you been blogging and what made you start?
I have been blogging for 4.5 years now and fell across it entering giveaways when bored during night feeds when Eliza was a baby. I loved the idea of keeping an online diary and it snowballed from there.
What was your favourite TV program as a child?
Jamie and his Magic Torch
Something interesting you might not know about me is . . .
I once starred in a TV advert for a car polish, only I wasn’t allowed to use the advertised polish on the car as it would have damaged the paintwork!
What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten?
Frogs Legs (not a fan)
What was your biggest fashion faux pas?
Got to be my mint and lilac shell suit – gotta love the 80’s!
What are you pet peeves?
People that have dogs and don’t clear up their mess and people that park on the pavement so you have to walk into the road to get round them.
Who would be your 3 perfect dinner party guests (dead or alive) and why?
David Tennant because he is a great actor and gorgeous, Will Smith because he makes me laugh and Stephen Fry for his knowledge.
If they made a movie of your life, what would it be about and which actor would play the part of you?
I had a pretty rocky childhood, had my first child at 18 and was a single parent until I met my husband so probably that. I would love Emma Watson to play me as a teen / young adult :0)
If you could live in any sitcom, which one would it be?
Hubby always jokes that I am Frankie from The Middle
Name a famous person you have met
Dick and Dom and pretty much all the CBeebies presenters
Which social media platform best describes your personality and why?
Twitter – because I love to chat
What picture do you have on lock screen on your phone / computer?
How many pairs of shoes do you own?
8 pairs and 7 are all from Hotter Shoes!
What period of time from the past would you most like to have lived?
The Tudor period fascinates me
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Iceland – I want to see the Mid-Atlantic ridge, the Northern Lights and go inside a volcano
What is your guilty pleasure?
I love dancing around the house and singing along to Girls Aloud
What is your favourite tipple?
I tend to drink white wine, but I do love cocktails and Pimms in the summer
If you had a magic lamp and a Genie, what would be your three wishes
To own a house with a sea view and enough bedrooms so the kids didn’t have to share; for the kids to grow up healthy and happy; to be able to afford to travel the world

No, I have arthritis in my feet so struggle to find comfy shoes
I LOVED Jamie and the Magic Torch – I still have a book I got once for being good at the dentist. The Northern Lights are totally my bucket list item too – one day! 🙂

Thanks so much for putting this together. I don’t know anyone else at the conference so it’ll be good so see some semi-familiar faces! My place to visit was the Northern Lights too. Maybe we should organise a blogging trip so we can go there and drink Pimms…
