Andy’s Amazing Adventures Magazine

We have seen a big resurgence in the popularity of Dinosaur’s in our house, with Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures being one of our favourite TV Shows, in fact Isaac loves all the raps and does some rather groovy moves to them.

Andy’s Amazing Adventures magazine– which is due to launch today, 10th February 2016, is aimed at children aged between 3 and 6 years old and is based on the extremely popular CBeebies shows Andy’s Wild Adventures, Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures and the forthcoming Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures and will cover all of Andy’s adventures!

The magazine is perfect for little explorers who love dinosaurs and wild animals. In each issue, Andy will be their trustworthy guide as they explore the world and even travel through time, meeting creatures, facing dangers and solving problems along the way.

We were sent the magazine to review and like all CBeebies magazines it is packed full of puzzles, stickers, colouring and stories which are all based upon the 7 key areas of learning that support early years development whilst being full of fun and learning.

With Sebastian, age 2, we have been working on his communication and language and I have been encouraging him to say the name of the dinosaurs as he sticks the stickers into the correct shapes which is not only great for his fine motor skills but also his problem solving and shapes.

With Eliza, age 5, we are focussing on her literacy and have been practising reading the stories, looking at the pictures and tracing letters.

Andy’s Amazing Adventures is the only magazine that’s all about Andy and his adventures and is an exciting voyage of discovery for little ones. It is also the only magazine to bring millions of years of natural history to life for pre-school children and has been created in collaboration with the BBC’s Natural History Unit.

  2. It’s such a brilliant magazine isn’t it, we love it already! POD is a massive Andy fan and it’s great how the magazine brings all the shows together. She’s come up with some odd names for the dinosaurs though!

  3. My youngsters are in full on dinosaur appreciation mode at the moment. Eve roars all the time. We took them to a dino-dig at the Glasgow Science Centre and they loved it. I’ll keep an eye out for this. It’ll be right up their street!

  4. My son loves all of these types of magazine. I’m sure he’ll have his hands all over it the next time we go the shops as he’s just done dinosaurs at school.

  5. My two used to love the CBeebies Magazine when they were the same age as your two. I love that there is more choice now. I bought CBeebies on subscription for my best friend’s four year old and he loved it. He would adore this too
