This year Isaac has gone from having a real dislike of reading to become a little bookworm as his confidence grows and he can often be seen with his nose in a book or magazine, particularly fact based ones.
The fabulous team at Miles Kelly has been putting together themed book bundles exclusively for Christmas and have used the #GiveTheGiveOf hashtag on their website and social media to help book lovers find the perfect selection of children’s books this Christmas.
Isaac received a parcel containing a surprise hand-picked book bundle, but what was inside?
Isaac excitedly opened his selection of books one by one and was super excited by the contents.
The first book was Super Science Experiments which is bursting with 40 awesome science experiments for kids aged 7+! The book contains photographic step-by-step guide to each experiment; Key scientific concepts explained and put to the test plus notes for parents, teachers and helpers on support and safety. We cannot wait to get started!
The second book was the Children’s Encyclopedia of Science which is bursting with incredible facts about the scientific world, covering key areas such as science, space, weather, the human body and inventions.
Last but not least is the Science Book which is the ultimate guide to the world of science, with incredible facts, stunning photographs and artworks and fantastic design.
You can get this special selection of Science books for a special price, but for a limited time only in the lead up to Christmas. These special bundles will be up to 60% off RRP – a great Xmas saving!
What will you #GiveTheGiftOf this Christmas?
We love reading here. So lucky to have 2 kids who love reading. My pair would rather have books that Easter eggs. Strange but something I’ve always encouraged
Thankfully my Beans all share my love for books, you can learn so much from a book and its such a lovely gift to receive.
Those do look like interesting books – good for homework as well as being fun to read.
It is so refreshing to see books given as gifts to children. We have always made it a point that J receives at least one book as a Christmas present every year.
I’m so glad Isaac is enjoying his books – my son loves science books too!
What super books. We love Miles Kelly books and I have just bought both the boys Christmas books. Harry Potter for Mini and Alex Ryder for Maxi
I love Miles Kelly books, they are always great and not too expensive. The fact books aged at kids are really engaging
I love the look of these books, I love reading, and I am keen to get my daughter in to books too – I have done her a book advent calendar this year
My niece and nephew also love reading and I love to buy them books as I am a total book worm x
aww we have always loved reading and struggled with Beth not wanting to do much, we gave her some books where you had to choose the endings and she flew from there 🙂 … my nephew would like these books you have been reading
How fab – my eldest daughter has always been a book worm and is studying English Lit at Uni! The others aren’t so keen, but Pickle loves his books too. I will be giving the gift of love this Christmas 😀 Kaz x
