Do you sit and daydream about your dream home?
I do, probably too much as our dream home seems so far out of reach at the moment.
Last month Ocean Finance got in contact with me and asked us to create a dream home, though not for us – for a fairy!
Eliza is my resident fairy expert so I knew we had the perfect person for the job. We packed Daddy off to Homebase to get the perfect fairy home essentials and set to work.
We started off with a golden plant pot that we filled with compost.
Of course there is one thing that is on the kids minds at the moment and that is Christmas, so funnily enough are Fairy Garden has a Christmas theme. Our focal point is a pretty blue cottage complete with colour changing lights and Eliza decorated the garden with a hand drawn butterfly which we stuck to a lolly stick.
Isaac and Eliza are hoping for snow this Christmas so also added a snowman and a carousel for the fairies to play on and Sebby’s input was his favourite toy – a little wooden train.
We have now added some grass seed to it and sprayed it with water in the hope that the grass will grow and we have a proper festive fairy garden as part of our Christmas decorations.
Aw, this was an extremely good post. Spending some time and actual effort to make a really good article… but
what can I say… I put things off a whole lot and never manage
to get anything done.
