Yesterday I took part in a twitter party hosted by UKMumsTV and Nick Jr to celebrate the launch of the new Doc McStuffins Pet Vet range of toys.
We were lucky enough to be sent the new Pet Vet Bag playset to help Doc with her expert diagnoses of the animal ailments, a Doc McStuffins costume to wear, the Disney Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Interactive Doc, yummy snacks from Whitworths and Bear plus some fab prizes and goody bags for our guests.
We started off our party with a rather raucous game of stick the Boo Boo on the patient. I think I span one of blindfolded guests a little too fast as she took the poster with her at one point but they all enjoyed it and the poor patient was covered in plasters by the time they had finished.
The next game was played using the Pet Vet Bag playset. The kids had to remember what instruments were inside and then I took one away, but which one was missing?
It was then time to stop for lunch and along with the yummy nibbles I mentioned above, we were also sent fairy cakes and some icing to top them. I made the fatal mistake of letting the kids do their own – I have never seen so much mess – they had fun though!
Once I had cleared the crumbs, they were all still happily sat around the table, so it was the maze challenge time. Isaac completed his the quickest but the younger girls were not far behind.
It was then time to play with all the new toys, with Jump and Go Squibbles being a huge it with everyone.
Our guests left with happy with their fabulous goody bags, leaving Eliza to get to know her new interactive doll. She has nailed the song already!!
Get your pet to the vet!! #docmcstuffins
