Imaginext® DC Super Friends™ Transforming BATCAVE Review

Isaac is a big fan of all things DC Superhero and Batman™ has always been one of his favourites as he the coolest tools and gadgets to fight crime in Gotham City.

Isaac has the original Imaginext®t Batcave, along with some other toys from the Imaginext® Batman range which have been well played with but are still in excellent working order, with Sebastian starting to take an interest in them too.

A couple of weeks ago we were sent the Imaginext® DC Super Friends™ Transforming Batcave to review.

It comes boxed and almost ready to go. All you need to do is take the figures and the weapons out of the packaging and it is ready to play, which is a real bonus.

I have to say that all the kids loved the toy batcave as when you turn a Power Pad the Batcave transforms before your eyes – the platforms, Batcomputer and Batwings open and the eyes light up!

Turn a second Power Pad to open the garage so Batman™ can speed off to thwart evil doings of the Joker!

Turn a third Power Pad to open a chest with armour that Batman™ can wear to protect himself from enemy fire!

Transforming Batcave

And of course no Batcave would be complete without a jail, elevator and projectile launcher to add to the story and the adventures!

We now have a whole Bat Cave city set up to play with and it is the first thing that Isaac heads to when he gets home from school. Because it is Imaginext® all the sets and characters are compatible with each other – even the non-Batman range which adds to more imaginative play. We have had the Battle Rover involved in play when the Joke took control of the ship and Batman and his friends had to save everyone.

I think the Imaginext® DC Super Friends™ Transforming Batcave will be on a lot of little boys Christmas list this year and it is sure to be a hit.

  1. My son is Batman mad and absolutely desperate for this! He has the other Batcave and I’m so impressed how sturdy it is and my son usually breaks everything!
