Any pirate loving “land lubber” is going to love Rattle Me Bones by Drumond Park!!

Take the treasure without waking Captain Boney. Just one tiny twitch and he’ll leap into action to scare you to bits.

In the box you will find:

  • 12 Accessories (4 Red, 4 Blue and 4 Yellow)

Rattle Me Bones

Setting up this game is straight forward, but be aware that you need 3 x AA batteries!! Firstly you need to insert the batteries on the Treasure Pile Base, then attach Captain Boney and then placing all his treasure onto his body and the 6 coins in his treasure chest.

Now Captain Boney is set in place with his treasure you can start the game by flicking the on/off switch by the treasure chest. The youngest player starts and uses the spinner to find which colour of treasure they have to take. The idea of the game is to gently lift it off Captain Boney. If you waggle or poke it too much, he’ll wake up and leap about, rattling and shaking to scare you away.

If Captain Boney wakes up you need to switch the game off, replace any treasure which has jumped off and also give him the piece of treasure back which you were trying to steal. That player then looses a turn and the game continues with the next player. If you spin the spinner and your corresponding colour pieces have run out you can then select a coin from the treasure chest, just remember 2 coins count as one piece of treasure.

Collect three pieces of treasure, then try for his golden hat to win the game.

Rattle Me Bones is a great game for children aged 5 and over and is great for teaching them fine motorskills and sharing. I do think mine are more interested in walking Captain Boney up though!
