I am a big fan of loyalty schemes and one of my favourite is the Clubcard from Tesco.
Not only have I been taking part in their fuel save promotion, but am busy saving my clubcard points which I normally spend during one of their Clubcard Boost events like the one that is happening at the moment.
With Clubcard Boost at Tesco, every £5 worth of Clubcard vouchers gets you £10 to spend on selected departments. So with even more departments to choose from in their biggest boost event, you could get the kids sorted with a new uniform for school or enjoy the last few weeks of summer for less.
The team at Tesco challenged me to create my ultimate “survival kit” to your chosen summer “moment” using products available within Clubcard Boost to the value of £20 and I chose a trip to the beach.
Here is what I chose:
TWF UV Rash Vest – RRP £3.50 but just £1.75 with Clubcard Boost. I always insist the kids wear a UV rash vest at the beach as it gives them maximum protection from harmful UV rays. Of course the little ones need one each so that totals £5.25
TWF Wet Shoes – RRP £3.30 but just £1.65 with Clubcard Boost. Until recently I have never used wet shoes but last week we were at the beach and saw several large jelly fish get washed up on the beach so shoes are a very good idea. These TWF wetshoes help protect feet from sharp rocks, stones and pebbles. The side mesh panels drain away excess water and the foam insole gives added comfort x 3 = £4.95
Minions spade and sand mould set in ruck sack – £10 but just £5 with Clubcard Boost. No trip to the beach would be without a bucket and spade and this Despicable Me Minions accessory set comes with a spade, sand moulds, rake and jug, perfect for the beach and when it’s time to head off home, the kids can neatly pack away their Minion tools in the handy see-through backpack and carry it themselves keeping my hands free.
Zoggs Aqua Ball – £9.10 but just £4.55 with Clubcard Boost. My kids love splashing about in the sea and throwing balls to each other. Great fun for in and around the pool or sea, this Zoggs Aqua ball is made from neoprene comes in a brightly coloured design which makes is slightly heavier than a beach ball so won’t get blown off course.
Not a bad haul for £19.75 is it?
Most definitely a good haul. Add in a good pair of sunglasses and you’re all set for your daily jogging routine! Nice post Chelsea!
