This has been a week of three cities and a birthday and boy am I shattered now.
On Sunday we had our annual family barbecue where we were challenged to take part in a mini sports day with varying results, but it was fun nonetheless.
Monday saw us head to Cardiff where I got to release my inner scifi geek and visit the Dr Who Experience and Cardiff Bay where they filmed some of the show and Torchwood.
On Tuesday we headed from Cardiff to Bristol and had an amazing time at the At Bristol Science Centre, aboard The Matthew Tall Ship and finding some Shaun the Sheep dotted around. I just wish we had more time to explore as there is so much to see and do.
Wednesday we were on the road again, only this time to London. The kids got to try the new Disney Infinity 3.0 game and hubby got to fulfil a childhood dream of meeting the Star Wars characters and even flew the Millenium Falcon with Chewbacca – OK, they were just waxworks at Madam Tussauds but he was like an excited child!
On Thursday Kian turned 15 and our plan was to head to the Bournemouth Air Festival but sadly the weather had other plans and it was rained off. Instead we had a relaxing day indoors and headed out to Nando’s for a birthday dinner.
Friday and Saturday were both airfest days and we have been having loads of fun on the beach, building sandcastles, paddling and watching those all important planes.
A busy week. Love the climbing photo. Fingers crossed you’ve not got too much more driving round to get to places, once you’re home.
Hope Kian had a lovely birthday. The climbing photo is fab.
that sounds like a lovely but busy week and a little something for everyone
