We started this week with our final birthday of the “birthday month” – hubby’s birthday. Sadly he was working but I organised a surprise barbecue for the evening and Eliza was on hand to help him blow out his candles.
Other than that it has been a week of two halves. Eliza came down with a sickness bug that has been going around the school. I thought we had got away with it as all the children I look after had it a couple of weeks ago but Eliza had to do it her own way!
Thursday was our 10th wedding anniversary and we headed out to our favourite restaurant, Urban Reef, for a meal. It was absolutely delicious and we were overwhelmed when we were presented with a very special dessert.
On Saturday we headed north to Birmingham and Drayton Manor for a belated birthday present for Sebby. He adores Thomas the Tank Engine and seeing his little face light up when he realised what he was seeing was magical. He spent the whole day saying “Choo Choo” and waving, it was adorable!
Here is our week in pictures:

Aw, lots of lovely smiles this week. The trip to Thomasland sounds great.
A busy week. Poor Eliza! But, sounds like the birthday celebrations and the Thomasland visit went well.
