FieldCandy for Festivals and Garden Fun!

A couple of weeks ago a friend asked if I was free to help with a festival project she was working on which involved pretty much sitting around in a field all day.  Not one to miss out on a bit of fun I agreed and I loaded the kids into the car and headed 10 minutes up the road to a field that is hired out for parties partyfield.com.

As we pulled in the kids let out an excited squeal, not only were their dozens of fabulous looking tents from FieldCandy to explore (the pacman was their favourite), but there were swings in the trees to play on and teepee’s too.

We watched as the adults finished the filming and then it was their turn to have some fun.  They were instructed to run through the teepees and had Eliza had to leap out of a kennel one and yell “woof” at Isaac.  I am sure there was more giggling than barking though.

Field Candy

FieldCandy is an exciting design-led brand of outdoor lifestyle products and it is safe to say having seen them up close I want them all. Currently stocked in the UK, USA and Asia in leading retailers such as Harrods, Heal’s, Liberty of London, Urban Outfitters and Saks Fifth Avenue, FieldCandy design and manufacture its products in the UK.

So why did they need us?

FieldCandy are crowdfunding and need your help to raise the money they need to expand their range of products and the kids have a small cameo role in their fun video.

We were lucky enough to be given the Something Fishy Teepee from the shoot to review.  It is super simple to put up – it took me less than 3 minutes, are fully water and fade resistant and can be used both indoors and out and because the teepee’s have a groundsheet attached they can actually be used for camping in too.

We also have a sunshade and I cannot wait to test it out on our travels to the beach as it offers the perfect way to relax on sunny days whilst protecting you from the sun as they offer a UPF50+ protection blocking out 99.7% of UV radiation.. They can be repositioned in three different ways to follow the sun as it rises and sets, so there’s no need to keep moving around!

Keep an eye out for my full review coming soon………….

  1. What fab tents and shelters! I am looking for something easy to put up for Athletics meets, when we sit outside for a full day whatever the weather – will definitely check these out!

  2. I love the look of the sunshade and we would have loved the tents when we went to festivals as it was always really hard to find ours in the mass of tents. Cool idea
