  1. As a great granny to a nearly 3 year old boy I would love to win this prize. I have used Sudocrem for many years and it is always in my bathroom cabinet and I know my grandaughter in law uses it too!

  2. As usual I did not read the instructions! My tip to avoid nappy rash is to use Sudocrem at every nappy change. It is so much easier now than when my children were small ! No disposables back then!

  3. Keep them comfortable by cleaning frequently, leave them kicking on a plastic sheet for a while every day and use Sudocrem as a barrier.

  4. My little one had reallly bad nappy rash to begin with which we treated with the yellow (stronger) metanium. We then used a barrier cream like sudocrem to prevent more but it wasn’t working so we switched nappy brands. Continued with the sudocrem til we realised we didn’t need it any longer – the new nappies were SO much better. Now we have sore cheeks when teething and treat it with sudocrem and it’s good as gold.

  5. try and give them a bit or air and make sure baby is dry before putting the new nappy on and change the nappy regularly

  6. Apply a thin layer of barrier cream or ointment before putting on a clean nappy. There’s no need to cake on the cream. Just use a small amount and rub it in enough so you can clearly see your baby’s skin. The cream is a protective layer between your baby’s skin and any wee and poo.

  7. I always gave my girls lots of ‘nappy free’ time..basically let them roll about on a washable comfy blanket (incase of accidents) and let them ‘breathe’ a bit..worked wonders for preventing nappy rash!

  8. we used to let them have time with out a nappy to let the skin breathe and than put sudocrem on the nappy area and change regularly.

  9. Regularly changing the nappies, and if I know my son has just been…and we’re indoors, I’ll leave him nappy free for a while (although we have had the occasional accident with this method!) 🙂

  10. Prevention is better than cure, is my motto 🙂 Putting a small amount of cream on at every nappy change helps massively.

  11. Always use a good quality barrier cream when the nappy is on but try to let the little’un get as much fresh air to his or her derrier as possible inbetween 😉

  12. My tips are: Find a nappy that your baby’s skin is happy with (whether that’s disposable or cloth).
Change nappies regularly (obviously) and use a barrier cream to prevent it (prevention is better than a cure, as they say).

Sudocrem is a favourite here, I have to say. We’ve always used it!

  13. 1. always make sure they are clean and dry when putting on a fresh nappy
    2. use a good prevention cream like sudocrem
    3. allow nappy free time
    4. use a good moisturising product for bath time

  14. Change regularly with lots of air time! I know it can be messy but it must be feel so icky being stuck in a nappy all day! xx

  15. Leave nappy off as much as possible, I used to put a cloth nappy under my daughter and let her have a kick about on her changing mat.

  16. With all four of mine I would lt them have time without their nappy! It helps so much letting the air get to it, followed by a lovely bath, then a wee spot of Sudocrem! Funniest time was when my husband caked the sudocrem on our little boy, he ran off and left white bum prints everywhere! Lovely! lol

  17. make sure their bottom is clean and dry before putting their nappy on and if your brave leave their nappy off for a while

    Reply
  18. Plenty of fresh air to the bottom, and regular nappy changes with thorough cleaning and application of sudocrem.

    Reply
  19. change them often and dry, also let them have a bit of time without a nappy on for like 10 minutes a few times a day to let the skin breath a bit

  20. Change them often, leave the nappy off some of the time and use a good barrier cream 🙂 (Sudocrem would be my choice even if this wasn’t the competition!)
